Robert Todd Lincoln, né le 1er août 1843 à Springfield ( Illinois) et mort le 26 juillet 1926 à Manchester (Vermont), est un homme politique américain, fils aîné d' Abraham Lincoln, président des États-Unis et de Mary Todd Lincoln. Il est le seul de ses quatre fils à atteindre l'âge adulte.

12 de jun. de 2006 · Robert Todd Lincoln was the oldest of Abraham and Mary Lincoln’s four sons. He was 17 and a student at Phillips Exeter Academy preparing for Harvard when his father entered the White House in 1861. Robert joined the Union Army in 1864 and was made a captain and assistant adjutant general of volunteers on the staff of Lt. Gen. Ulysses S. Grant.
Robert Todd Lincoln, President Abraham Lincoln’s oldest son, was a student at Harvard during most of the Civil War. On July 1–3, 1863, when Union forces under General George G. Meade stopped the northern advance of General Robert E. Lee’s Confederate forces at the Battle of Gettysburg, “Bob” Lincoln had finished his spring semester at Harvard and was free to travel elsewhere.

She created a trust to be distributed to her descendants — and by extension, descendants of Abraham Lincoln.
