Each group has a third of an ancient map detailing the location of the loot, and much effort is expended in finding the missing segment. Of course, the missing piece is found and the kids must deal with the greedy, fortune obsessed Spaniard. This is a good childrens' film: I thought it carried a good message and had a satisfying ending.
