Bursaries. Bursaries. We are committed to ensuring an MCS education is open to the brightest pupils, no matter their personal circumstances. We do this by offering help with school fees known as a ‘bursary’ to families. In 2021-22, approximately 1 in 10 pupils were on a bursary.

The deadline for registration is 31st October of the year preceding entry and all candidates sit an entrance test in January before entry in September. There may occasionally be places available for late applicants.

In 2017 while teaching Year 3 at Trinity College I was awarded a National Excellence in Teaching award. This was a great honour as I have a real love for life-long learning and I hope to instill the same in my students. As I continue to strive for excellence I feel very grateful to be a part of the Magdalen College Junior School Team.
