  2. 13 de set. de 2014 · A sequel to eclipse 'The Empire Strikes Back', The Further Adventures of Oliver Twist (or TFAOT to mega fans) was, to be fair, a Tour De Force in the world of children's TV back in the dawn of the 80's. I for one must admit charging home from school to see this!

In the Preface to this new edition, Dickens took the opportunity to respond to claims made by the magistrate Sir Peter Laurie that Jacob’s Island, the desolate, decaying neighbourhood where Sikes fell to his death, was simply a figment of Dickens’s imagination.

The Further Adventures of Gentleman Jack and Mister Twist - the Artful Dodger and Oliver Twist was published early in 2014. In between, he wrote the delightful series of short stories: Fifteen Tales for Christmastide.
