Founded in 1916, Sacramento City College had several locations before settling at the current location on the corner of Freeport and Sutterville in 1926. The 73-acre campus is home to approximately 520,000 square feet of assignable space, and has been undergoing significant renovation over the last two decades as facilities from the 1930s and 1950s require modernization.

Coach Sullivan begins his 10 th season as the Head Coach of the Panthers, his 18 th year as a member of the coaching staff, and his 21 st involved in the City College program. In addition to his coaching duties, he also teaches full-time in the Kinesiology, Health, and Athletics Division.
