Wine 3/9. In 1824, the Marquis de Lafayette visited the United States as a guest of President James Monroe. During his stay in Philadelphia, 200 Eastonians, including James Madison Porter greeted him. Porter was so inspired by the experience, as he worked to establish a college in Easton, he decided to name it in honor of the Marquis de Lafayette.

Technology Help. Autodesk. Autodesk is available to Faculty through the Software Center for Windows. Autodesk provides free academic versions of most of its applications, including AutoCAD, Inventor, Fusion 360, and Revit through its Education Community.
Professor Handy joined the department as a Visiting Professor in Fall of 2018 and teaches courses in introductory Accounting and Taxation. Professor Handy’s research focused on outcomes assessment in accounting courses and programs, and teaching methods to improve learning outcomes in accounting.

Annual Tuition & Costs. The annual tuition to attend Lafayette College is $58,110. The cost is the same for both in-state and out-of-state students. Room and board fees are an additional $17,336. For educational materials, students should allocate approximately $1,000 for books and supplies plus $1,258 for other fees charged by the school.
