Percy Bysshe Shelley (Field Place, Horsham, 1792 – golfo de La Spezia, 1822), foi um dos grandes poetas de língua inglesa do início do século XIX, e teve a sua obra poética marcada pelo romantismo, sua família descendia da velha nobreza, podendo-se fazer uma interessante genealogia de sua ascendência familiar.
