Five winners will be selected by The Earthshot Prize Council and announced at our next Awards Ceremony, where they will receive a one-of-a-kind award and a £1m grant to scale the impact of their winning solution.

Through the collective support of our Founding Partners, Global Alliance and wider network, we have been able to expedite the flow of capital towards Earthshot solutions, dismantle structural barriers, and equip our Finalists with the tools and support necessary for rapid scaling.
The process begins with Colorifix identifying a colour created naturally by an animal, plant or microbe. Earthshot Prize funding has allowed the team to increase in size, which has helped it reach out to other networks, groups and funders. The network has now expanded to more than 150 rangers , with an ever-growing list of people expressing an interest in joining.
The final five Winners, one per Earthshot, are ultimately chosen in a judging session by our prestigious Earthshot Prize Council, a global group of world-renowned individuals committed to championing positive environmental action. Each year’s winners are then celebrated at our annual Earthshot Prize Awards Ceremony.
