  1. 15 de jul. de 2014 · The most massive stars can burn out and explode in a supernova after only a few million years of fusion. A star with a mass like the Sun, on the other hand, can continue fusing hydrogen for about 10 billion years. And if the star is very small, with a mass only a tenth that of the Sun, it can keep fusing hydrogen for up to a trillion years ...

  2. Low and medium-mass stars then evolve into red giants. However, high-mass stars 10+ times bigger than the Sun become red supergiants during their helium-burning phase. Supergiants are consuming hydrogen fuel at an enormous rate and will consume all the fuel in their cores within just a few million years.

  3. High mass stars are hotter and more luminous than low mass stars. You can see this from the data above: the temperature of stars is directly tied to their color: higher mass, hot stars are blue while lower mass, cooler stars are red. The color differences are subtle, but can still be distinguished by eye when looking at stars in the night sky.

  4. The maximum mass that a star can end its life with and still become a white dwarf—1.4 MSun —is called the Chandrasekhar limit. Stars with end-of-life masses that exceed this limit have a different kind of end in store—one that we will explore in the next section. Figure 1: Relating Masses and Radii of White Dwarfs.

  5. 12 de dez. de 2020 · Being a 1-Star Servant, Arash’s team cost and investment costs are extremely low, and the potential return is very worthwhile. Not only does he have an absurdly high Noble Phantasm damage modifier, the fact that he sacrifices himself allows Arash to effectively bring in another teammate from the backline, creating numerous possibilities for team building in many farming setups.

  6. Main Sequence. Low mass stars spend billions of years fusing hydrogen to helium in their cores via the proton-proton chain. They usually have a convection zone, and the activity of the convection zone determines if the star has activity similar to the sunspot cycle on our Sun. Some small stars have very deep convection zones.
