We are located inside NYU’s famous Tisch School of the Arts program, and like other Tisch programs in film, dance, and theater, we look at games as a creative form of art. Students in the BFA program learn about game design, game development, and game scholarship, preparing them for careers as game designers, developers, scholars, and critics.

Tisch Special Programs runs a four-week summer high school program each July. This program is open to high school sophomores and juniors. Areas of study include: dance, drama, production & design, dramatic writing, game design, photography and imaging, and recorded music.
Across the performing arts, Tisch Drama alums are acting, dancing, singing, designing, production managing, writing and directing plays, creating “must see” new work, building the next hot new theatre company, and more.
