    Formal Hall, a formal three-course meal, is served at 7.15pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and at 7.30pm on Sunday and Wednesday. As it is a formal meal, in the tradition of Oxford colleges, members of Oriel are required to wear jacket and tie or equivalent and gowns (guests do not wear gowns).

  7. The College is generally open for visitors between 2pm and 4pm (or dusk, whichever is earlier) each day, except in Trinity (Summer) Term, when College is not open to visitors. Trinity Term runs from around mid-April to the end of June. Price of admission: It is possible to visit as a group, although there is a maximum limit of 12 people per group.
