Sir Richard Grosvenor, the 7th Baronet, was created Baron Grosvenor in 1761, and in 1784 became both Viscount Belgrave (Belgrave, Cheshire) and Earl Grosvenor under George III. The title Marquess of Westminster was bestowed upon Robert Grosvenor, the 2nd Earl Grosvenor, at the coronation of William IV in 1831.
Robert joined Grosvenor in 2015 and is responsible for the company’s investment activities in the Pacific Northwest Region. He has a diverse background with over 25 years’ commercial real estate experience. Prior to joining Grosvenor, Robert held a senior position within the investment and development team at a major Canadian pension fund.
Robert is a member of Grosvenor’s Group Investment Committee. He is also Chair of the Grosvenor Group Finance Board and Chair of the Pensions Executive Committee. and a member of the Group IT Committee. Robert was educated at Cambridge University (BA Economics 1989) and has an MBA from London Business School (1994).
