My main problem with part 4,besides the bad cgi and the excessive chroma use, is that it treats the event of the first films as movies, it's a meta sequel, which I don't like. However, the way I see it, one could interpret it as if the movies were fictionalized versions of real life events (Like "Stab" in the "Scream" franchise).
