  6. The Devil's Brigade certainly takes its time to get going, and when it does it fails to truly live up to the build up it receives. The film focuses on the formation of the 1st Special Service Force, a joint American/ Canadian commando unit that was known as The Devil's Brigade, and the fledgling unit's first foray into the battlefields of Western Europe.
