Oxford University’s Brasenose College (BNC) was founded in 1509 and is home to one of the oldest rowing clubs in the world. Brasenose College ranked 10th in the Norrington Table for the years 2011-2014. The college faces the west side of Radcliffe Square opposite the Radcliffe Camera in the centre of Oxford. To the west is Lincoln College.
Mr John Bowers KC. After attending Clee Grammar School which became Matthew Humberstone Comprehensive School when he was in the sixth form, John gained a scholarship to Lincoln College, Oxford. He then did a Bachelor of Civil Law and was a weekend law lecturer at Lincoln and St Hugh's Colleges and Christ Church for four years thereafter.

Brasenose is a community, and the College take very seriously its responsibility to not only offer academic guidance but also to provide pastoral help for its members through its welfare network. Brasenose has its own College Nurse and links with GPs and dentists.
