30 de jun. de 2024 · To me, if you are already immerse in modern media with very graphic displays of violence, you can definitely tolerate what Martyrs shows. But apparently what many of you are getting is that I'm saying that is not a powerful film or whatever.

As horrible as the subject matter and images are in this film, I think in some way by allowing it to be something that queer people can proclaim as being a form of representation, it helps expand the infinite possibilities of what queer stories can look like.
