Jan 2024 • Couples. The Palace Theatre is a fantastic Victorian theatre set in the heart of London's West End. Dominating Soho's Cambridge Circus, this beautiful red brick theatre wad built in 1891 and then, bizarrely, converted the following year. The interior is as impressive as the exterior.
No expense was spared in its reopening later that year, and the Victoria Palace has had a long association with variety, music hall and musicals ever since. Before going dark for renovation, the Victoria Palace Theatre had a large capacity, seating over 1500 audience members over 3 levels.
"Dixon Studio" is the Palace Theatre, so it's sort of two and the same, so be sure to check out the Qype reviews for Palace Theatre. Though this place is fairly decent, it could do with a renovation; the venue itself has avoided closure on several occassions thanks to sponsors and donors, but it definatly needs a renovation to bring in the bigger names and acts, and perhaps even an expansion.
