Gil Kane. Writer: The Defenders. Gil Kane is most often associated with the Green Lantern as well as other DC titles and yet, during his long career, he managed to put his signature on virtually every watershed character or comic enterprise that has ever mattered.
Gil Kane (b. April 6, 1926 – d.January 31, 2000) was a writer. He was production designer and model in Superman (1988 TV Series). In 1997, he was inducted into both the Will Eisner Comic Book Hall of Fame and the Harvey Award Jack Kirby Hall of Fame.

Let’s get that out of the way. He also depicted his figures in wildly exaggerated poses and drew far too many covers with the reader looking up various characters’ noses.
