General Sir Hew Whitefoord Dalrymple, 1st Baronet (3 December 1750 – 9 April 1830) was a British Army general and Governor of Gibraltar. Dalrymple was commissioned as an ensign into the 31st Regiment of Foot in 1763, was promoted Lieutenant in 1766 and Captain in 1768.
