William Humble Eric Ward, 3rd Earl of Dudley, MC TD (30 January 1894 – 26 December 1969), known as Viscount Ednam until 1932, was a British Conservative Party politician. Lord Dudley was the eldest son of William Ward, 2nd Earl of Dudley, and his wife Rachel Gurney.

4 de dez. de 2019 · William Ward, first Earl of Dudley, died at Dudley House on May 7, 1885, aged 68. He was succeeded in the earldom by his eldest son, William Humble Ward. Burial. The old earl’s body was brought to Witley Court for burial and was laid to rest in a large red granite sarcophagus in the crypt of the attached Church of Saint Michael and All Angels.
William Humble Eric and Rosemary's son, William Humble David Ward (1920 - 1913), known as Billy to his family and friends, inherited the title of Earl of Dudley when the 3rd Earl died in 1969. However, by this time, the estate had been gradually sold off and broken up as the coal, iron and steel industries gradually diminished or became nationalised during the twentieth century.
