Wale, de son vrai nom Olubowale Akintimehin Victor, né le 21 septembre 1984 à Washington, est un rappeur américain. Il se popularise en 2006, à la publication de sa chanson Dig Dug (Shake It) dans sa ville natale. Le producteur Mark Ronson découvre Wale en 2006 et le signe au label Allido Records en 2007.
