KMFDM É uma banda alemã de rock industrial. Criada oficialmente em Paris na França, em 29 de fevereiro de 1984, como um projeto de arte performática entre Sascha Konietzko e o pintor alemão e artista multimídia Udo Sturm, na abertura de uma exposição de jovens artistas europeus no Grand Palais.
KMFDM nahm mit verschiedenen Gastmusikern wie Bill Rieflin und Nivek Ogre von Skinny Puppy oder Nina Hagen einige Stücke auf und ging zum Teil mit diesen Künstlern auf Tour. KMFDM verließ nach dem ersten, nicht veröffentlichten Album Opium den musikalischen „Hamburger Underground“.
