  4. Great movie: "The Lathe of Heaven" (1980) Great book. Mediocre movie adaptation, IMO. Some ideas just don't translate well to the screen. You are probably right but I GREATLY enjoyed this movie and its definitely one of the better scifi movies of all time regardless of the budget. O my fucking god.
