The Hellenic Army Academy (Greek: Στρατιωτική Σχολή Ευελπίδων), commonly known as the Evelpidon, is a military academy. It is the Officer cadet school of the Greek Army and the oldest third-level educational institution in Greece.
Military Training – General. The Military Training of the Cadets concerns theoretical and applied field training, includes courses in the core of Military Science and aims to: Shape, strengthen and finally steel the character of Cadets. Cultivate military virtues and military education.
At these academies, cadets or midshipmen not only receive rigorous academic instruction in a range of subjects, including engineering, history, mathematics, and military science, but also undergo extensive physical training, leadership development exercises, and character-building activities.
8 de mar. de 2021 · From 28 June to 19 July 2021, the Hellenic Military Academy conducted summer training in the area of Kanapitsa-Litohoro. The training included individual tactics, fighter techniques, and Squad and Platoon-level exercises, day and night, involving personnel and assets of the XXIV Armoured Brigade "1st CAVALRY REG.
Admission to the Academy (SSE) takes place through the Nationwide (Panhellenic) Examinations conducted by the Ministry of Education and Religion, every academic year, according to current legislation.
