25 de nov. de 2014 · Encore un bel album pour James Gang, peut-être plus sophistiqué que « Straight shooter », mais qui ne rencontrera pas le succès escompté. Déçu, Domenic Troiano, qui a beaucoup donné en terme de song-writing sans convaincre les fans du Gang (ni se faire aimer d'eux), jette l'éponge pour intégré le super-groupe canadien The Guess Who en remplacement de Randy Bachman.

Although Straight Shooter and Passin’ Thru, two subpar albums released back-to-back in 1972, proved unsuccessful in growing the group’s fan base, Walsh’s shoes remained difficult to replace. In order to join the Guess Who , Troiano left the group, leaving the James Gang’s guitar position open once more.

Apesar de uma nova formação, o som da banda não muda muito, continuando uma mescla de gêneros e tendo como principais diferenças a diminuição no peso e o aumento no swing.
