The St Lawrence Academy is a coeducational Church of England school in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire, for students aged 11 to 16. Its vision is to provide a transformational learning experience for every student by creating a stimulating, challenging and rewarding learning environment which enables students to flourish, strive for excellence and succeed.
School Day. At the academy, our academic year is based around three terms – Autumn, Spring and Summer. Generally our dates fit in with North Lincolnshire with the exception of our staff inset days which are different. Our taught days are of varying lengths:, All students start at 8.25am every day. Monday finishes at 3:45pm.
