29 de jun. de 2020 · Henry Percy was born in around 1502 and was the eldest son of Henry Algernon Percy, 5th Earl of Northumberland, and his wife, Katherine Spencer. He was brought up in Cardinal Wolsey’s household and it was while he was there that he fell in love with Anne Boleyn following her return to the English court in late 1521.

Son of the Earl of Northumberland, he supported the deposition of Richard II in 1299, but later quarrelled with the new king, Henry IV. In 1403 Percy and his father, in alliance with Owain Glyn Dw̧r, launched a rebellion.
