In the subject sport and health the studies mean, apart from reading and writing assignments, a lot of practical work. It means skills training, personal development, work, and reflection in group. The teaching in the subject sport and health happens in cooperation with The Swedish School of Sport and Health Sciences.
I teach at the health promotion program, master's program, doctoral courses. Some of my main courses are: Physical Activity and Healthy Brain Functions, 7.5 credits (School of Health Sciences) Independent project for the Health Promotion Programme; Quantitative Methods, 5 credits (Master's Programme for Nordic Master in Outdoor Life)
At GIH, we educate teachers in physical education, health scientists, coaches and sports managers. Exchange studies. According to our students, there is a special atmosphere here, the so-called GIH spirit. Here you go to a pure sports college where you share your greatest interest with other students.
