William Wordsworth (Cockermouth, Cumberland, Inglaterra, 7 de abril de 1770- Grasmere, Cumberland, Inglaterra, 23 de abril de 1850) fue uno de los más importantes poetas románticos ingleses. Con Samuel Taylor Coleridge, contribuyó al inicio de la época romántica en la literatura inglesa con su publicación conjunta de Baladas líricas en 1798.
