Anotação em 2009: Acho que não há fã de westen (e são milhões e milhões) que não considere Matar ou Morrer/High Noon como um dos melhores da história. As listas dos dez melhores westerns de todos os tempos em geral incluem o filme – e as que não incluírem estão erradas, na minha opinião. Para mim, este é o melhor faroeste de todos.
