Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) is an American professional stock car racing organization founded by Pro Football Hall of Fame coach Joe Gibbs. His son, J. D. Gibbs , ran the team with him until his death in 2019.

Meanwhile, it took home Xfinity championships in 2009, 2016 and 2021, officially making it one of motor sports most decorated and premiere racing teams.
6 de nov. de 2022 · Coy Gibbs, co-owner of Joe Gibbs Racing, son of team patriarch Joe Gibbs and father of NASCAR driver Ty Gibbs, has died at the age of 49, the racing team announced.
The three-time Super Bowl champion football coach, started Joe Gibbs Racing in 1992 and has led the organization to five premier series championships. Known as a master motivator, Gibbs’ more than 160 premier series owner wins rank third all-time. They include three Daytona 500 victories and five Brickyard 400 championships.
