A speedometer was said to have clocked the 30-year-old going at 100mph and remained constant for half a mile. Major, who is part of trio group London Grammar, initially pleaded not guilty before changing his plea to guilty.

Composé de Hannah Reid au chant et au piano et aux claviers, Dominic « Dot » Major au clavier et aux percussions et Dan Rothman à la guitare, le groupe se fait connaître mondialement en 2013, avec ses tubes Wasting My Young Years et Strong.
