Conspirators of Pleasure is unlike what many would expect from a Svankmajer film being devoid (or lessened) of his usual aesthetic (i.e. stop motion animation, intricate set designs, puppetry, camera tricks and editing). However it very much contains the spirit and aura of Svankmajer leaving it indelibly stamped with his signature.
