28 de jul. de 2020 · On July 27th, 1987, Dead Can Dance released their third studio album Within the Realm of a Dying Sun, a record which pared down the band to be predominantly the core duo of Lisa Gerrard and Brendan Perry, and percussionist Peter Ulrich, after the departure of Scott Rodger and James Pinker in 1987.

It was created in 1987 following by 2 years their excellent second album, Spleen And Ideal. All of their albums were great and whenever they decided they had nothing more significant to say together any more, they had parted their ways.

Some sounds great, such as spiritchaser, into the labyrinth. within the realm of a dying sun is the worst sounding LP of all the reissues. The original recording is indeed a little brittle but sound even worse on vinyl.
