The Oxford School of Drama is privileged to be part of the Government’s DaDA Scheme which provides scholarship grants for talented people aged 18–23 years who wish to pursue a career as an actor. The maximum Award will fund 100% of a student’s course fee and provide them with an annual living allowance of £4,550 in the form of a grant (it does not need to be repaid).
At OSD we run online and in-person short acting courses at the School to build your experience and confidence as an actor. Tutors on the courses are either part of the School’s acting faculty or are industry professionals with a wealth of experience. Our short courses for this coming year will be available to book from late September.

This led me down the route of auditioning for Drama School which eventually led me to OSD. My new home for the next 3 years of my life. Throughout the audition period and beginning of my training the school has offered great communication, a multitude of new ways to work, a feeling of complete support and the opportunity to really discover what I want from this journey.
