The central aim of the school is to encourage the development of each girl’s inner resources, so that she acquires the wisdom and integrity to make positive choices in a rapidly changing world.
Our curriculum in Year 9 is broad and balanced: all students study English, mathematics, science, two languages, RE, history, geography, DT, Drama Art, Music and PE. Queen Elizabeth’s Girls' School converted to academy status on the 1 August 2011. It reconstituted on the 24 April 2018 to bring the school in line with the Government’s latest recommendations for academies.
