Oratory Prep Middle School offers an opportunity for students to become acclimated to the OP structure and culture within a supportive, caring, and safe environment. Middle school students are encouraged to challenge themselves, develop self-advocacy skills, and take risks in our learning environment that values each student’s individual gifts and talents.
About OP. As a Catholic boys’ school of over 400 young men in grades 7 through 12, OP delivers an exemplary education in a tight-knit community. Our emphasis is on preparing our young men to become exceptional leaders, thinkers, and men of faith and action. Our staff takes pride in challenging and caring for every student.
The Oratory Prep upper school program provides a foundation in the core content areas while allowing students the choice to explore our wide range of electives throughout grades 9-12. Because each student requires an academic program that is specific to their needs, we have regular, honors, and AP-level courses available in the core content areas.

Oratory Prep, located in Summit, New Jersey, is a Roman Catholic college preparatory day school for boys in grades 7-12.
October 18, 2023. Deadline to submit extended time requests for the COOP/HSPT. October 25, 2023. Deadline to register for the COOP/HSPT. October 26, 2023. Open House from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. November 1-8, 2023. Test site admission letters mailed or emailed to those registered to take the COOP/HSPT. November 10, 2023.
