Parks and Recreation offers a wide variety of multi-generational programs. In addition to the maintenance and operation of our city’s 49 parks, playgrounds, fields, courts and programming, the department manages the city’s bus transportation services, the Aquatic Complex, Mullins Pool, Cypress Pool, the Coral Springs Tennis Center and the Coral Springs Gymnasium.
ABOUT US A Department of Parks was included in the City's first Freeholder Charter, adopted in 1889. Placed under its jurisdiction were parks and public land that had been set aside for the perpetual use of the community in the original Spanish land grants.

The Department of Parks and Recreation office has relocated to: 95 W. Beau Street, Suite 115. The Department of Parks and Recreation is responsible for 5,500 acres of park land in Washington County, offering picnic shelters, nature trails, bicycle and bridle trails, hunting and fishing, as well as recreational programs, and special events.
