The Lady of the Shroud is another nail in Stoker's coffin as far as I'm concerned: I found Lair of the White Worm and Jewel of the Seven Stars almost as bad. The rumour that Stoker was helped with the writing of Dracula by his successful contemporary Hall Caine seems to bear out - Dracula and Shroud seem to be by two totally different authors.
