Há 2 dias · In his book "The Western Canon", literary critic Harold Bloom includes Brave New World, Stanisław Lem's Solaris, Kurt Vonnegut's Cat's Cradle, and The Left Hand of Darkness as culturally and aesthetically significant works of western literature, though Lem actively spurned the Western label of "science fiction" while Vonnegut was more commonly classified as a postmodernist or satirist.
Honestly, Rogue and Gambit's best moments were always the comics, their TAS relationship never went into anything more than a few lines here and there. The comics, even as early as 1992-93, solidified them as a couple very seriously. But in terms of soap opera relationships, you're kind of right.
