My gut feeling is that anything better than a 4G cat 6 router with 2x2 MIMO is probably not going to give any real benefit. My searches have turned up the Mikrotik LHG LTE6 kit as being an affordable option.

Reset the device, connect to it with an ethernet cable and a copy of winbox on your PC. Reset the password, reboot and go from there with a softwaere upgrade to 7.8 first off..
16 de ago. de 2024 · If you wanted to do that you'd be better off with the chateau 5g R16 which only has 4 antenna ports on the modem. The R16 modem has 6x antenna ports, it has 2x ports for B32. But it's a lot easier to use the 4x ports for 4&5G (4x4 MIMO) and just leave the internal B32 antennas as they are. Last edited: Sep 1, 2024.

14 de nov. de 2023 · Mikrotik LHG(G) Router OS v7.12 I note one of my CA B3 drops occasionally and the LTE modem doesn't auto re-negotiate to bring this secondary channel back on-line. I also note regular (every 5 seconds or so) AT command chatter to and from the mast, but last night this stopped (maybe coincidence?).
16 de ago. de 2024 · Aug 21, 2024. #37. If you've performed a Netinstall you need to add a wireless package I'd recommend using the Wifi-qcom-ac one. Basically you need to download the packages for this from Mikrotiks website and then upload it to the router.

The MikroTik Chateau 5G has no software configurable antenna settings, unlike the LTE12 model. In its factory supplied state, the Chateau 5G only uses the two external antenna connections for 5G on band n77/78, i.e. the 3.6GHz band.
