23 de fev. de 2024 · Welcome to r/Coinbase! Lost $50k in a Coinbase phishing scam: wanted to warn others. Yesterday I had 18.8 ETH ( >$50k) stolen from my Coinbase account ( Etherscan tx ). Wanted to post in case this educates others. Edit: what u/docgravel said in the comments for other users is similar to what happened to me. 2:15PST on 2/23: I got this text.
25 de jun. de 2023 · I dint respond, but wen i tried to login into my coinbase, it want me to install 2 step authentication with google app and qr code. the instructions for the set up were so long to read, i kept trying to login another way. Then it asked me to upload my driver license. And now my coinbase is locked for 48hrs.

2 de abr. de 2022 · I made an attempt to sign in to my account this morning and immediately got an error, "Too many attempts.. try again in a few minutes or reset your password." So, I reset my password, was able to sign in with 2FA, signed out, and tried to sign back in, and ran into the same problem. This time using the new password.
2 de nov. de 2020 · I've been informed Coinbase provides an opt-out method where you choose Other Bank and then just verify the amounts of two deposits they send to you. Thank you. I'm not giving my bank login to anyone. Even my bank knows better than to ask. Thanks for the work-around.

There’s a new elaborate Coinbase scam by fellow Americans. They knew my name, email, and phone number - likely from the Ledger hack that leaked all of our personal info (screw Ledger; never buy Ledger). They will send a text message saying: Coinbase: We detected a login from Salt Lake City, Utah.
11 de jan. de 2024 · Does anyone know when Coinbase introduced the recovery pin? I created my account back in 2017. I’m trying to login for the first time in a year and after entering my email and password it is asking for a recovery pin. I’ve never heard of this before. I’ve only used the authenticator previously to login. Any thoughts on how to solve this?
