  1. 19 de ago. de 2024 · 19/08/24 - 12:14 #51302. Amazon Prime have released the details of their on air team for the Champions League this season (or at least they have via an email that's just dropped into my inbox). To summarise: Host: Gabby Logan. Commentators: Jon Champion and Alan Shearer.

  2. 12 de out. de 2003 · Alan shearer a boring co-commentator. Another thing that makes me smile, is Ray Wilkins' sheer nice positive outlook to everything! OK, I know his over-use of players christian names is a bit corny - and anyone else notice he has started using 'please God' in some of his analysis?? Don't remember him saying that on Channel 4!!!

  3. 12 de out. de 2003 · The most boring co-commentator of all is actually Alan Smith, the former Arsenal striker. My favourite co-commentators are (in order): 1) Chris Kamara. 2) Gerry Armstrong (La Liga, Champions League & some Eurosport matches) 3) Andy Gray.

  5. 12 de ago. de 2007 · Impressive suntan or not, I do fear that Alan Shearer is ageing badly. I've previously mentioned on this forum that his hands are getting hairier, and on last night's evidence, the lines on his forehead have become deeper than a clown's pocket. Serious questions must be asked of the make up department.

  6. 19 de mai. de 2024 · Gary Lineker - Alan Shearer - Ian Wright Surprised Steve Bower has not commented on a match considering its last day of the season. Steve Bower was at the Etihad today presenting coverage for Supersport in South Africa.

  7. 20 de ago. de 2024 · Football Commentators Thread (Part 20) I see UEFA have ruined the Champions League theme music as well as the competition format. What a dreadful start to 2024/25. Good God... Mike Dean is doing some co-commentary tonight, for Tranmere's club audio stream of their game against Everton U21s. The start of the Amazon coverage was bizzare to say ...

  8. 15 de jul. de 2024 · The Ratings Thread (Part 75) BBC bashing by the usual suspects I assume (right wingers mainly). Not the politics thread. An average audience of 22.32 million TV viewers watched England's defeat by Spain in the Euors last night, according to BARB overnight figures 16.65m on BBC One, 5.67m on ITV1.

  9. 11 de jun. de 2024 · Alan Hansen Seriously ill in hospital. I've just looked at the squad stats that season, of 16 medal winners I'd say Butt, Scholes, G Neville / P Neville and Beckham were the "kids". 3 of them would also have won title medals the previous season had they overcome Blackburn.

I think I’ve seen a couple of winners around 8K or a bit more. I’d have been ok with the final round on Saturday with rock music being my preferred type of music.
