All 48 state road trip. Hey everybody! My two friends and I have been planning a huge road trip for about 3 years but never seriously started planning until recently, were planning on driving through all the 48 connected states of the US. Were all only 16 and will be at least 17 at the begining of the trip.

3 de ago. de 2024 · Hi Novice road tripper here! I am planning to drive from Durham NC to Chicago IL (staying in Irving Park). I am hoping to get some suggestions for the best route and whether to break this in to a 2 day or 3 day trip (need to arrive in Chicago by 9:00 am on a Wednesday morning).

Routing: From Raleigh, you may consider each of two routes from Raleigh to east of St Louis (Mt Vernon, IL). There are also two principal alternatives from near Omaha, NE to the Black Hills.
16 de ago. de 2024 · If this is a winter trip, the most reasonable way would be I-15 through LV to Barstow, then CA-58 to Bakersfield, then CA-99 to Fresno to CA-41 to the south entrance of Yosemite. This is over 700 miles and is a full 2 day trip but most of it is on freeway quality roads. If all the passes are still open, then the Tonopah route is the quickest.
