12 de nov. de 2019 · So, I did try uninstalling Lights-Out 3 on the Synology NAS. I then successfully reinstalled the last stable version, 4433, and supplied the license file. It automatically installed the appropriate Client software on Windows, and I manually downloaded the matching console installer.

11 de set. de 2007 · Synology does not allow packages running with root privileges with DSM 7. but this has been blocked or fixed in the meantime. Without root privileges Lights-Out can not do anything, neither monitor network traffic nor shutdown the server. Whether the users are willing to edit files via SSH to give Lights-Out root rights is questionable.
Hi, Having just updated to version 2.0.3.3562 I find that the client no longer works or doesn't start. Trying to follow the guidance to navigate to <server>:7782/ brings up the installer but on following this it fails every time due to inability to uninstall the previous version.
This client PC is has the following information from Windows "About PC". Edition Windows 11 Pro for Workstations. Version 22H2. Installed on 13/05/2022. OS build 22622.290. 28 de fev. de 2021 · I'm running Lights-Out version 3.7.3.4890 on DSM 7 and on my Windows clients. I use Active Backup for Business to backup my clients. The Lights-Out console shows about half of the backups as failed with the "Aborted" status but they've actually succeeded. This issue isn't new in 4890. I've been slow to report it. How can I help you debug this?
25 de nov. de 2007 · Bei 2.0 habe ich mich davon getrennt (da ich 3 Varianten für jede Plattform supporten musste). Jetzt verwendet Lights-Out seine eigene (identische) Infrastruktur, die plattformneutral ist und später auch Server auf Linuxbasis zulassen soll. Ich gebe Ihnen Recht, dass die Installation z.Z. noch etwas "zu technisch" ausfällt.
