In 2022-23, Bees' keeper - mainly Raya - had exactly 200 shots to deal with (46 goals conceded, 154 saves); in 2023-24, Arsenal's keeper - mainly Raya - had to deal with just 84 shots (29 goals conceded and 55 saves). I don't believe anything has changed in practical terms. The thing I find odd is that, if Raya had been left warming the bench and/or completely flopped at Arsenal (which could still happen), he would come back to us but we'd have an asset worth a lot less than 27m. Struggling to comprehend why...
15 de ago. de 2023 · Ramsdale has contract till 2026 with further year option and is England's No 2 keeper. Newcastle are dreaming if they think Arsenal will sell for 15m. Double that, at least. But double that is £30 million. £3 million more than Arsenal value Raya at. They rate Raya more highly than Ramsgate.
15 de ago. de 2023 · I know the reasons and I do not split hairs! If you think that DR who was and still is a world class keeper is worth £30 million it is a good job that you are not in charge of player sales at BFC I trust in Phil Giles, pity you don't.
