A Neszmélyi borvidék [1] a Dunántúl északi részén, a Dunától délre található dombvidékeken terül el. A borvidék címet 1977-ben kapta meg, területe 1400 hektár. Története. A területen már a római korban is termesztettek szőlőt, de a török hódoltság idején a lakosság megritkulásával az ültetvények is tönkrementek.
