Families, Systems, & Health seeks to develop the knowledge base of a systemic approach to healthcare that integrates mind and body; individual and family; and communities, clinicians, and health systems while considering cost-effectiveness and distributive justice.
Families, Systems, & Health is a peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary journal that publishes clinical research, training, and theoretical contributions in the areas of families and health, with particular focus on collaborative family healthcare.
Families, Systems, & Health® is a peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary journal that publishes clinical research, training, and theoretical contributions in the intersecting areas of families, health, and system design, collectively known as Collaborative Family Healthcare.
Since 2013, the Strong Families, Safe Communities project has been engaging local systems to identify community-driven solutions that highlight collaboration across agencies to develop the best possible outcomes for these families.
Producing a journal that regularly offers clear articulations from many domains of relationship in health and healthcare, and occasionally offers a new articulation of the patterns that connect across domains, is the first goal the new editorial team for Families, Systems, & Health has set itself.
