Rupia Indonésia (Rp) é a moeda oficial da Indonésia. Emitido e controlado pelo Banco da Indonésia, o código ISO 4217 da moeda é IDR. O nome "rupiah" é derivado da palavra Hindustani rupiya (रुपीया). Informalmente, os indonésios também usam a palavra "perak" ("prata" em indonésio) ao se referir à rupia.
Rupiah, atau lengkapnya Rupiah Indonesia, adalah mata uang resmi yang berlaku di Republik Indonesia. Mata uang ini dicetak dan diatur penggunaannya oleh Bank Indonesia dengan kode ISO 4217 IDR. Secara tidak formal, orang Indonesia juga menyebut mata uang ini dengan nama "perak".

The coins that are used now are 25 rupiah, 50 rupiah, 100 rupiah, 200 rupiah, 500 rupiah and 1000 rupiah. The banknotes that are used are 1000 rupiah, 2000 rupiah, 5000 rupiah, 10 000 rupiah, 20 000 rupiah, 50 000 rupiah and 100 000 rupiah.
22 de mai. de 2024 · The rupiah became Indonesia’s official currency in 1949, when it replaced the Indonesian Dutch East Indies guilder. Because the currency depreciated greatly during the 1950s, a new rupiah was issued in 1965; the rate of exchange was 1,000 old rupiah for 1 new rupiah.
