The Capetian house of Valois (UK: / ˈ v æ l w ɑː / VAL-wah, also US: / v æ l ˈ w ɑː, v ɑː l ˈ w ɑː / va(h)l-WAH, French:) was a cadet branch of the Capetian dynasty.
